Join Chicago Trading Company as a Systems Manager (3rd Party Systems) to oversee vital third-party platforms for HR, Recruiting, Finance, and Operations. This is a chance to define our organization's success through ensuring operational efficiency and system excellence. We are looking for a skilled Systems Manager capable of effectively implementing and overseeing our enterprise platforms. The perfect candidate will have a history of prioritizing collaborator needs, guiding agile teams, and providing coordinated, automated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the management of all third-party systems critical to HR, Recruiting, Finance, and Operations.
- Serve as the primary expert for resolving user issues and maintaining peak platform performance.
- Coordinate vendors, consultants, and integration partners through implementations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and improvements.
- Collaborate with internal development and data teams to gather requirements, maintain integrations, and deliver cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Craft and sustain a roadmap that prioritizes value delivery; automate workflows using event- or batch-based techniques; and establish data pipelines to enable self-service BI and AI-enhanced analytics.
- Enforce stringent role-based security measures and regulatory compliance, ensuring data consistency, reliability, and accessibility across the firm.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise software for HR, Finance, Travel, or Recruiting, with hands-on expertise in platforms such as UKG, Concur, Egencia, Coupa, or Greenhouse.
- Shown capability to balance collaborator priorities, communicate progress clearly.
- Skilled at translating business requirements into coordinated, automated solutions; comfortable operating with APIs, SQL, and Python.
- Proven experience in integrating multiple third-party systems, automating data flows, and implementing robust role-based access controls.
- Disciplined project manager with a keen attention to detail, analytical rigor, and confidence operating amid ambiguity.
- User of BI/reporting tools and modern data pipelines/warehouses (Snowflake a plus).
Nice to have
- Strong data-architecture skills, including modeling and normalization.
- Experience applying AI/ML to business analytics.
- Background in trading, fintech, or other high-performance regulated industries.
- Integration tooling experience.
- Data privacy, Identity & security expertise
- ERP/GL exposure
Compensation
The salary range for this role is listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The discretionary bonus will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance.
Salary Range
$200,000 - $250,000 USD
Most teams at CTC, with the exception of Trading, follow a hybrid workplace model, subject to change based on business need.
