Checkr is looking to grow our IT Operations team! We are looking for an IT Support Engineer for Checkr’s Santiago office. This person will help ensure we provide world-class technical support for our employees and our spaces. We are looking for a rockstar that thrives in a fast-paced environment, is an independent worker, and takes pride in their work by completing tasks right the first time. Ideally, you have experience providing exceptional technology support in a start-up and/or corporate environment being comfortable with enterprise networking, conference room technology and basic computer troubleshooting. This role requires you to be great with people with a strong focus on process and documentation. You will be joining a diverse team that is passionate about finding ways to improve and innovate so that together we can provide Checkr with the best workplace technology experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide delightful IT assistance to all Checkr employees for tasks including password resets, access requests, A/V help (Conferences Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Basic audio system, smart TVs), etc.
  • Provide onsite technical support for Checkr's Santiago’s Office
  • Deploy hardware and run IT orientation for new hires in Chile
  • Provisioning, deprovision and audit user accounts
  • Track, resolve or dispatch all issues in Jira Service Desk
  • Support cloud services e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and many more
  • Create and update technical documentation on Checkr systems
  • Improve the experience of our users and our internal processes by constantly asking "How can I make things better?"
  • Collaborate with other Checkr’s to complete tasks and projects on time
  • Own lifecycle management and procurement for Chilean hardware

What you bring:

  • 3+ years experience with Mac or PC technical support
  • 3+ years experience working in a heavily SaaS-based environment (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Okta etc.)
  • Fluent Spanish & English speaker with strong reading and writing skills
  • Ability to create strong connections with internal and external teams
  • Strong understanding of computer fundamentals: networking, hardware & operating systems
  • Experience performing hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting on MAC & Windows devices
  • A positive attitude and excitement for building new processes and policies for a rapidly growing organization
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with MDM (Kandji/Intune)
  • Experience working with remote teams and multiple offices, while using tools like Slack or Zoom to support them
  • Ability to work daily in our Santiago office.

 

The gross base salary range for this role is $18,650,000 clp to $21,950,000 clp in Santiago de Chile.
