What You Will Do

The Director of Revenue Growth Management (RGM) is responsible for translating enterprise business objectives into actionable sales and channel-specific strategies that drive sustainable, profitable, and strategic growth. This role ensures trade spend is optimized to meet both short- and long-term financial commitments, while enabling data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization. You will lead the development and execution of trade-centric business intelligence, pricing architecture, and promotional strategies in close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Demand Planning, and Supply Operations. You will also oversee the integration of marketing mix modeling and forecasting to enhance demand planning accuracy and commercial effectiveness. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Commercial Planning 

  • Lead the development of RGM strategies that align with corporate goals and drive profitable growth across all channels and customers.
  • Influence executive decision-making through insights and recommendations on pricing, promotion, and portfolio strategy. 

Trade Strategy & Execution 

  • Oversee the management of trade strategy and communication of official promotional guidelines to enable standardized annual trade planning expectations.
  • Oversee post-promotion ROI analysis and embed learnings into future trade strategies in coordination with Sales Ops and Business Intelligence.
  • Lead contingency planning efforts to strategically allocate opportunistic trade investments that drive incremental, profitable growth. 

Pricing & Promotion Architecture 

  • Develop and optimize pricing strategies and promotional architecture to maximize revenue and margin across channels.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Ops, and BI to ensure proper platform architecture, trade spend alignment, and consumer value delivery.
  • Monitor competitive pricing trends and consumer behavior to inform pricing and promotional decisions. 

Price Pack Architecture (PPA) Strategy 

  • Lead the development and optimization of Price Pack Architecture across channels and customer segments to ensure alignment with consumer demand, value perception, and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to design pack strategies that support trade spend efficiency, promotional effectiveness, and long-term growth.
  • Analyze performance of existing pack configurations and identify opportunities for innovation, rationalization, or repositioning.
  • Ensure PPA decisions are integrated into forecasting, trade planning, and promotional strategy to drive cohesive execution. 

Team Leadership & Capability Building 

  • Manage and develop direct report: Manager, Trade Strategy & Analytics.
  • Drive RGM capability building across the organization through training, tools, and standardized processes.
  • Lead change management efforts to embed RGM principles into daily operations and decision-making. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and transparency in revenue strategies.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders as needed. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree and/or 10+ years of experience in sales, analytics, trade, marketing, forecasting, or related field preferred
  • Experience specifically with trade management software and strategy/planning
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, retaining, and developing talent
  • Experience in CPG industry with a specific emphasis on Planning or Supply Chain functions preferred
  • Preferred experience in both large and small CPG environments
  • Ability to influence decision making across multiple levels and functions of an organization to drive results
  • Solid understanding of sales and trade specific methods / techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Ability to make decisions and work with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
  • Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback 

Position: Director, Revenue Growth Management

Reports to: SVP, Business Development

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $155,000 - $165,000 + 25% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
