What You Will Do
Are you always ahead of the curve when it comes to trends, creators, and conversations happening on social? Do you thrive on building genuine community connections and driving meaningful engagement? Chomps, the go-to for real-ingredient, high-quality protein snacks, is looking for an Associate, Social & Community to help take our social presence to the next level. As an Associate, Social & Community, you’ll be the human voice of Chomps, engaging directly with our audience across platforms, turning everyday interactions into meaningful connections, and leading the charge in building a thriving community of Chompians. You’ll assist in content strategy across channels, from concepting and briefing to helping bring ideas to life, while managing daily scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking. You’ll also help deepen brand trust, and bring our brand voice to life in every interaction, making sure every post, reply, and DM feels personal, consistent, and consumer-first. You’ll stay on top of emerging trends, creators, and cultural moments, proactively identifying opportunities to keep Chomps ahead of the conversation and find authentic ways to lead moments that matter, making our audience stop scrolling and start snacking. This role is perfect for someone who’s equal parts creative and analytical, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You’ll report to the Social Media Manager and work closely with the broader marketing and creative teams to help achieve our growth and engagement goals for 2026 and beyond. Responsibilities
- Manage all direct messages, tagged content, and owned platform comments to maintain active and authentic community engagement.
- Serve as a liaison between the Social and CX teams, leading monthly CX x Social touchbases and share insights, surface community feedback, and ensure a seamless experience for consumers reaching out.
- Maintain a personable, human-first communication style that reflects the Chomps brand voice.
- Support the creation, execution, and publishing of content across Chomps’ social media platforms.
- Collaborate on creative briefs and assist with in-house creative requests to bring campaigns and concepts to life.
- Partner with content creators and external agencies to produce on-brand, high-performing assets.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the monthly social content calendar.
- Track and analyze social performance and sentiment through weekly KPI reports and campaign recaps, including creator and content performance.
- Conduct competitive and social landscape analyses to identify trends and new opportunities.
- Contribute to social listening and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong awareness of social trends, cultural moments, and best practices for engaging with like-minded brands, influencers, key media topics, and celebrities.
- Oversee Surprise & Delight (S&D) gifting, manage giveaway prize redemptions, and identify new opportunities to foster brand loyalty.
Who You Are
- 3-5 years of experience in social media, community management, or brand marketing (preferably within the food, CPG, or wellness space).
- Strategic thinker with a creative eye and a strong understanding of how to translate brand goals into engaging social moments.
- Confident in using and analyzing key social platforms and measurement tools (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, Sprout Social) to drive insights and inform strategy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for brand voice and community engagement. · You’re deeply consumer-obsessed and love turning customers into community advocates.
- You’re equal parts listener and storyteller, someone who sees every DM and comment as a chance to build loyalty
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship management skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Canva or photo editing experience, video editing preferred but not required.

Salary Range Opportunity:
- The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 + 15% annual bonus
Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:
- Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
- Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
- In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
