What You Will Do

As an Associate, IT, you will serve as a key technical contributor within the IT organization—supporting, enhancing, and securing our technology ecosystem. This role goes beyond hands on support: you will take ownership of operational systems, contribute to strategic IT initiatives, and help build scalable processes as Chomps continues to grow. 

You’ll work closely with IT leadership to implement new technologies, strengthen security posture, streamline device and identity management, and ensure that every employee has an exceptional technology experience. This is an opportunity for someone ready to step beyond foundational IT work and take on more responsibility, autonomy, and technical depth. 

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Operations 
    • Serve as a Tier 2+ escalation point for IT support, handling more complex Windows, Mac, and SaaS related issues.
    • Oversee device lifecycle management including provisioning, configuration, patching, and decommissioning across Intune and related systems.
    • Maintain and enhance Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related administration. 
  • Systems Administration & Ownership 
    • Administer and improve identity and access management processes.
    • Monitor system health, performance, and compliance across core IT platforms; identify and implement improvements.
    • Manage shared IT environments such as the company’s intranet, documentation repositories, and knowledge base. 
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance 
    • Support and enhance cybersecurity initiatives including MFA, conditional access, device compliance, and endpoint protection.
    • Assist in investigating, documenting, and remediating security events or vulnerabilities.
    • Help develop and enforce IT security standards, policies, and best practices. 
  • Project Work & Process Improvement 
    • Lead or co-lead IT projects such as system migrations, automation initiatives, documentation rollouts, and tool evaluations.
    • Contribute to the continual improvement of IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or platform native tools. 
  • Collaboration & Enablement 
    • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure technology supports productivity and business goals.
    • Train employees on new tools, features, security requirements, and best practices. 

Who You Are

  • Living in the Pacific Time zone or willing to work Pacific hours.
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and MacOS environments.
  • Familiarity with modern security practices such as MFA, conditional access, and endpoint security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-first IT environments. 
  • Experience with Entra ID administration at an intermediate level preferred.
  • Basic scripting experience (PowerShell preferred).
  • Exposure to automation tools or ITSM platforms preferred.
  • Experience contributing to IT projects or process improvements. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for technology, learning, and continuous improvement.

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 + 15% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
