What You Will Do

The Vice President, Finance is responsible for leading and scaling Chomps FP&A function in support of a rapidly growing, increasingly complex business. Reporting to the CFO, this role will drive the evolution of Chomps’ financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical capabilities to enable more informed, data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

This is a highly cross-functional and visible role. This individual will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, while providing strategic and analytical support across all functions. The role requires a leader who can elevate the quality, depth, and rigor of financial insights, while developing a high-performing team to drive continued profitable growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the FP&A organization, supporting increasing business complexity and team growth
  • Support the accounting function, strengthening financial processes, systems, and data integrity across the organization
  • Own and enhance company-wide budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range planning, driving continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracyrigor, transparency, and alignment
  • Provide strategic and analytical support to leadership through high-impact reporting, investment analysis, and ad hoc decision support – reinforce financial discipline
  • Oversee internal financial reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics - deliver actionable insights into revenue, margins, and overall business performance to influence decision-making
  • Partner with commercial and marketing teams on pricing and promotional strategy, customer and marketing tactic profitability, innovation, and contract evaluation
  • Provide financial oversight and support to supply chain and procurement, including input cost analysissupplier economics, and contract / negotiation support
  • Develop and steward KPIs across revenue, margin, and working capital performanceaction across full company when necessary to deliver KPIs
  • Support and improve financial models to assess commodity volatility and margin impact
  • Support lender, investor, and board reporting 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA and/or CPA a plus)
  • 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Experience in food, protein, manufacturingand/or CPG environments strongly preferred
  • Experience in asset-light or outsourced manufacturing models is a plus
  • Strong background in accounting, FP&A, commercial finance, and margin management
  • Proven ability to partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams
  • Experience managing financial complexity in a $500M+ company
  • Expert financial modeling and analytical capabilities - data-driven and detail-oriented
  • Experience with ERP  (e.g., NetSuite) and planning tools
  • Strong business partnering mindset
  • Ability to operate effectively without direct authority (influence-based leadership)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with high level of ownership and accountability – identify the questions and issues, drive the insights and solutions

Reports to: CFO

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range Opportunity:

  • The salary range for this role is $215,000 - $225,000 + 30% annual bonus

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

  • Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry
  • Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
  • In addition to base salary, full-time team members receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K 6% match, and monthly reimbursements for wellness and home office.
