Marketing Partner Specialist
The Marketing Partner Specialist is responsible for exercising independent judgment in supporting the development and management of Chowbus’s partner network. This role involves overseeing and strengthening partner relationships, drafting and administering agreements, analyzing performance data to inform business decisions, and recommending evaluation standards, incentive programs, and improvement strategies. In addition, this role represents the company at external events to identify and recruit new partners, while serving as a key advisor to the Senior Project Manager in shaping and implementing partnership initiatives. This position requires discretion in matters of significance, strong communication skills and the ability to apply analytical insights to strategic objectives.
What You'll Focus On:
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing partners, serving as a primary point of contact.
- Resolve partner issues promptly to ensure satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business goals.
- Draft, review, and administer partnership agreements in support of company objectives.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in advising the Marketing Manager on partnership strategy, program design, and execution.
- Analyze and interpret partner performance data to provide actionable insights to management.
- Recommend and implement standardized evaluation criteria, improvement processes, phase-out mechanisms, and incentive programs to optimize performance.
- Identify trends and areas of opportunity to enhance partner performance and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the Sr Project Manager to represent the company at city events and professional gatherings.
- Support the identification and recruitment of new partners that align with Chowbus’s growth objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to partner relationships, agreements, and performance outcomes.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical and administrative support, including preparing internal reports and updates for leadership.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in partner management, account management, business development, sales or related roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to draft and interpret contracts or agreements
- Solid problem-solving, organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with basic design, data, and project management tools, such as Canva, Google Sheets, or similar applications
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to drive for event-related responsibilities.
- Experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment is plus
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required; proficiency in Cantonese is preferred
- Familiarity with the Asian restaurant industry or foodservice events preferred.
