Young Adults Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
The Young Adults Coordinator leads and supports the Young Adults Ministry overseeing the weekly 20s + 30s gatherings at the Royal Palm Beach Campus and mobilizing young adults into Groups, Classes, and Dream Team opportunities across ministries. This role supports central young adults and initiatives and events, helping young adults know God, grow in community, discover their purpose, and impact their world. Additionally, the coordinator provides support to the campus Groups, Classes, and Connections ministries.
JOB DUTIES:
Young Adults Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the weekly Tuesday night gathering for 20s+30s
- Support and connect young adults to church-wide ministries and initiatives, i.e. Journey (our church's assimilation class), Groups, Classes, Connections, Students Ministry, Kids Ministry, Volunteers, Sisterhood (women's groups) and Crew (men's groups, etc.
- Track and report Young Adults’ milestones and spiritual steps at the Royal Palm campus (salvations, baptisms, serving, etc.)
- Use our volunteer strategy called SERVE to identify, develop, and empower the Young Adults volunteers into life of the campus
- Effectively communicate sermons and manage the teaching roster
- Manage budget and reconcile expenses made to execute the Young Adults ministry
- Help bridge the gap between seniors and college ministry
- Participate in all Central Young Adults Ministry meetings, events, and initiatives including, but not limited to, collaboratively written message content and curriculum as an ongoing joint project with other campus Young Adults Ministry staff.
- Support Campus Pastor as assigned. (Journey facilitation, Service Pastor, Altar, Baptisms, Pastor on Call, Missions, logistics and administration, etc.)
Discipleship Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and track Young Adult Groups in our church's database (Rock) under the Crew, Sisterhood, Married People, and Everyone Hubs. This includes managing group members, study materials, capacity, and leader availability each semester.
- Help promote Groups & Classes through Connect Weekends, Journey, events, and weekend lobby interactions.
- Regularly communicate with group leaders, providing updates, guidance, and encouragement.
- Facilitate Group Leader Orientations and assist with onboarding new Young Adult Group Leaders and other HUB Leaders as assigned.
- Assist with coordinating and executing Classes and Leader Communities
- Work in tandem and collaboration with the other Discipleship staff looking after ministry expressions (Celebrate Recovery, Freedom, Prayer, DivorceCare, GriefShare, Single & Parenting, Altar ministry) and provide care to needs as they arise among the congregation, especially within (but not limited to) the Young Adult population.
EDUCATION:
- College degree, preferably in a ministry-related area.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must have demonstrated experience & knowledge in the field of pastoral ministry.
- Strong administrative skills, leadership ability, & innovation.
- Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to build teams of volunteers. Experience in mobilizing volunteers is highly desirable.
