Position Overview:
The Sales Engineer for the Pega Practice will serve as a technical and strategic advisor during the sales process. This role requires deep expertise in Pega solutions, coupled with strong business acumen to effectively articulate the value of Ciberspring’s services to prospective clients. Ideal candidates will have experience with insurance and financial services industries. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, delivery teams, and clients to design tailored solutions that align with their business goals and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support
- Partner with sales teams to identify client needs and develop tailored Pega solutions.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other client inquiries with detailed, persuasive proposals.
Solution Design and Consultation
- Analyze client requirements to create scalable, efficient Pega-based architectures.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and align with project timelines and budgets.
- Provide insights and best practices to ensure high-quality, future-proof solutions.
Client Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and fostering confidence in Ciberspring’s Pega expertise.
- Address technical objections and provide clear, concise answers to client questions.
Knowledge Sharing and Thought Leadership
- Stay up to date on Pega product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Contribute to the development of whitepapers, case studies, and other thought leadership content.
- Mentor internal teams on Pega’s capabilities and benefits.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Ciberspring’s Pega delivery team to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution.
- Align with marketing teams to showcase success stories and build the Pega practice’s reputation.
What you bring to Ciberspring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, consulting, or solution design role, with a focus on Pega solutions.
- Strong understanding of Pega’s architecture, applications, and capabilities, including hands-on experience in designing and implementing Pega solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Prior experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or higher certification.
- Familiarity with adjacent technologies and platforms, such as CRM, BPM, and integration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development and strategic planning.
