POSITION SUMMARY

CIQ seeks a visionary and driven leader to own and lead our growth and demand functions. This critical role is responsible for the ideation, development and delivery of creative, data-driven campaigns that drive high-quality leads and fuel revenue growth.

The marketing organization at CIQ is rethinking the growth and demand strategies and will employ AI and any other modern tools that promise to introduce efficiencies, expand coverage and ultimately improve conversion. We seek someone with an eye on the future of marketing, and we will empower you to help define it. There are two main objectives for the person in this role. They will drive demand generation efforts and be a leader in our growing organization.

Develop and execute an effective demand generation strategy

You will be a leader in the marketing organization and relied upon to drive the expansion of our funnel and effectiveness of conversion throughout. You will work with our team to:

  • Define and execute the overall growth and demand generation strategy across product lines and an open source community.
  • Develop and implement integrated campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media, paid ads, events, and webinars.
  • Co-own our marketing automation platform (Hubspot), while investigating and integrating modern technology and AI to create efficiencies throughout the funnel.
  • Manage a budget and establish metrics and reports that demonstrate success and allow us to troubleshoot concerns in our outbound campaign efforts.

Be a leader

You will also be looked upon as a leader in the marketing organization and beyond. You will present our strategies to the company and will need to be able bring people along with your vision.  You will:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of forward-thinking marketers.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

Ultimately, in this role, you will be a critical member of our growing revenue organization. You will have a chance to define this function as you see fit. We believe marketing and sales are a single function that when aligned are unstoppable.

NEEDED TO SUCCEED

In this role, you will be relied upon to not only drive revenue but to also help all the members of the marketing team grow and improve. You should be a team player that inherently understands that the better the whole team, the better you will be in your function. We are looking for people that are confident in their craft, yet humble enough to ideate new ways of doing things. You should have the following:

  • A deep understanding of the entire sales and marketing funnel, including lead generation, lead nurturing, and sales.
  • Expertise in various marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and events.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to track, measure, and analyze campaign performance.
  • Passion for technology and a good understanding of the tech industry.
  • A friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and always striving to be better attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of leadership experience in a growth or demand generation function with a proven track record of success in driving revenue and growth through data-driven campaigns, preferably within the infrastructure software or a related industry.
  • Experience leading and managing high-performing demand-generation teams.
  • CRM experience (Hubspot experience preferred)
  • Experience with predictive analytics and AI-powered marketing tools.
  • Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
