Who You Are:

 

As a Business Development Representative at Citian, you're on the frontline of driving our company's growth in new and existing markets across the U.S. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple responsibilities – qualifying and following up with inbound leads and proactively generating new prospects through outbound activities. You will be traveling to various trade shows and conferences to build leads and our brand. You're confident in speaking to new prospects and developing these into leads and successful outcomes. You're a quick learner and adaptable and have a strong desire to progress through the company.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Business Development experience
  • Able to connect with decision-makers to highlight how solutions can help them solve the complexities of the transportation management market
  • Capable of processing and develop quality leads that can be converted into real-time sales opportunities by our Sales Executive team
  • Desire to make a minimum of 75 outbound calls per day to potential new customers and ensure all activity is logged with Salesforce
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, team-based, fast-moving environment
  • Driven self-starter with high initiative and confidence
  • Heavy focus on outbound prospecting activity through phone, email, and LinkedIn as well as other Sales tools
  • Proficient in Salesforce

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B2B sales experience in an inside sales capacity
  • Familiarity with state and local governments is a plus
  • SaaS sales experience
