Account Lead

A Citizen Account Lead serves as the main point of contact between clients and the marketing team, responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves understanding client goals, developing tailored marketing strategies, and overseeing project execution to deliver high-quality results. The Account Lead will work closely with internal teams to align resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the marketing team, maintaining strong, positive relationships.
- Understand each client’s business goals, brand identity, and marketing needs to ensure work is tailored to their objectives.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
Account Planning and Strategy
- Work with clients to define marketing objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators.
- Develop customized marketing strategies in collaboration with internal teams to align with client goals.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
Project Coordination and Execution
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of client relationship, coordinating with creative, digital, and content teams.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively addressing any issues to ensure projects stay on track.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with client expectations before submission.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Track and analyze campaign performance against client KPIs, using insights to inform future strategies.
- Prepare detailed performance reports, including metrics on reach, engagement, and ROI, to share with clients.
- Provide recommendations based on data insights to optimize ongoing partnership.
Account Growth
- Identify new opportunities within client accounts to expand services or implement additional scope.
- Present new ideas and marketing solutions that align with client goals, contributing to client growth and satisfaction.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with clients and creative team leads to update stakeholders, resolve issues, and adapt plans based on feedback.
- Gather and interpret feedback to ensure it is accurately conveyed to the greater team.
