A Talent Acquisition Supervisor job is available with the City of Fort Worth Human Resources department within the Talent Acquisition division. You will play a key role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for our organization. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will support the execution of the Talent Acquisition process while supervising the Sr. Recruiters within the division. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will facilitate the hiring process for a portfolio of City departments. We are looking for a team member who is driven to succeed and passionate about building relationships with all internal staff, candidates, and the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources management, public administration, business administration or related field
- Four (4) years of human resources experience, including one year of supervisory
- responsibility
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Talent Acquisition with a municipality or government organization
- Certification in Human Resource Management
- Experience tracking metrics and key performance indicators applicable to Talent Acquisition to inform data-drive decisions
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor job responsibilities include:
- Supervises staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary decisions or recommendations
- Serve as back-up liaison for the Talent Acquisition Manager and the division with other divisions, departments and outside agencies.
- Coordinates and reviews the work plan for assigned human resources programs, work activities, projects and programs; responds to sensitive customer inquiries and complaints.
- Participates in the development and implementation of division goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs/activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, compliance, and candidate experience and collaborate with the appropriate departments/divisions to implement
- Performs as the project leader on departmental projects applicable to the Talent Acquisition division
- Monitors contract compliance from outside vendors and participates in the development and administration of the division's annual budget
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to influence, guide and drive the Talent Acquisition process
