Network Engineer Manager, City Storage Systems - Bogota

At City Storage Systems, we're building Infrastructure for Better Food. We help restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery. What you’ll do

• Architect and scale enterprise-grade networks: You’ll manage distributed systems across multiple locations, ensuring our infrastructure can support rapid expansion and evolving business needs with high reliability and performance.
• Integrate cloud and security-first solutions: You’ll operate in cloud-native environments with a strong focus on cybersecurity, aligning network architecture with best practices and compliance standards while collaborating with security and DevOps teams.
• Apply deep technical expertise: You’ll leverage your mastery of OSI Layers 1–3 and solid understanding of Layer 4 protocols (TCP/UDP) to troubleshoot, optimize, and evolve our network stack.
• Drive automation and efficiency: You’ll lead initiatives to automate network operations using scripting languages like Python and tools such as Ansible, reducing manual overhead and improving scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: You’ll work closely with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align network capabilities with strategic goals, ensuring seamless integration and long-term resilience.

 

What we’re looking for

• Mandatory experience in large-scale network environments (e.g., hundreds of offices) and proven ability to design, manage, and grow such networks.
• Technical Skills: Strong, in-depth understanding of OSI Model Layers 1-3 and foundational knowledge of Layer 4 (TCP/UDP).
• Automation: Highly desired experience with scripting (e.g., Python) or automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Certifications: CCNP or CCIE are ideal.
• Language: C1 English proficiency is mandatory.
