Engineer in Training

Civil Science is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our growing Fargo, ND team. What You’ll Do:
As an EIT - Infrastructure/Transportation, you’ll support senior engineers on diverse projects spanning municipal, transportation, and land development sectors. Your role will involve:
- Engineering Design: Contribute to roadway, utility, and general municipal engineering designs, leveraging your skills to deliver innovative solutions.
- Project Execution: Assist with calculations, designs, and documentation throughout various project cycles.
- Field Work: Participate in construction-related tasks, including inspections and surveys, ensuring projects meet design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insight into programs, staff, and operating procedures while building your expertise.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with aspects of civil engineering projects, such as roadway design, land surveying, land development, construction inspection, and CADD. Proficiency in Civil 3D is a plus.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Credentials: Preference will be given to candidates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and driving record review.
