Civil Science is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer in Training (EIT)- Transportation to join our team in Salt Lake City, Lehi, or St. George, Utah. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist and Learn: Support senior engineers by performing essential civil engineering tasks, gaining exposure to various aspects of transportation projects.
  • Design Excellence: Work on roadway and transportation design, leveraging cutting-edge software like MicroStation and OpenRoads to create impactful solutions.
  • Field Experience: Participate in construction engineering and on-site inspections, bridging the gap between design and reality.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success, gaining insight into industry-leading practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads, along with knowledge of roadway design, land surveying, and CADD.
  • Experience: Recent experience in highway/DOT projects is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of related design experience who have passed the FE exam.
  • Critical Thinking: A strong ability to analyze problems and ensure project success.
  • Qualifications: Must be able to pass a background check and driving record review.
