Senior Transportation Engineer

As a Senior Transportation Project Manager, you’ll oversee high-profile transportation projects from concept to completion. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of transportation systems, including roadways, freeways, and interchanges.
- Coordinate project activities to align with objectives, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Implement quality control measures to meet industry standards.
- Oversee financial aspects, including accurate and timely invoicing.
- Identify challenges proactively, driving innovative solutions to meet project goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional Engineer License: Currently licensed in Utah or have the ability to gain licensing in Utah through reciprocity within six months of start date.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in transportation engineering, managing mid-size projects ($5M–$20M).
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in roadway design, surveying, environmental regulations, and construction oversight.
- Relationship Builder: Strong connections with Utah transportation entities such as UDOT, UTA, and local municipalities.
- Leadership & Growth: Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and secure new project opportunities.
