Civil Science is seeking a motivated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) - Transportation to join our Twin Falls, ID office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful transportation, municipal, and development projects while growing your skills in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do:
As an EIT at Civil Science, you’ll assist experienced engineers in a variety of tasks, gaining hands-on experience and insight into civil engineering processes, tools, and projects. This role offers a mix of:

• Design Work: Collaborate on roadway design, land development, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Construction Engineering: Support and oversee project execution to bring designs to life.
• Onsite Inspection: Dive into the field to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required).
• Experience:
  • Hands-on knowledge in roadway design, land surveying, construction inspection, and CADD.
  • Prior internship experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation (preferred).
  • Recent exposure to highway/DOT projects (a plus).
• Skills:
  • Familiarity with design software like MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil3D (a plus).
  • Proven ability to think critically and problem-solve for successful project outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications:
  • EIT certificate; Passed the F.E. exam.
• Other: Ability to pass a background check and driving record review.
