Material Testing Technician

Civil Science is currently seeking a qualified Materials Testing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in the success of the firm and its various roadway related construction projects. Ideally, we are looking to hire a full-time position, but we are open to someone looking for a seasonal contract-based type of arrangement. This exciting career opportunity is based in our Williston or Dickinson, ND office. In addition to an extremely competitive base wage we also offer over-time pay, company vehicle, and a generous benefit structure.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with construction materials testing in either a field or lab setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have:
    • ACI Level I certification
    • Highway testing experience and certifications ex. Soils field tester, aggregate sampler, asphalt pavement inspector, etc.
    • Previous experience with NDDOT projects
  • Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass both a criminal background check and driving record review
