
Proposal Coordinator
Civil Science is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our Salt Lake City or Lehi, UT office. In this role, you'll support teams primarily with coordination of proposal development efforts. These range in size from projects worth tens of thousands to millions of dollars, and managing all the parts and pieces along the way can be challenging for any team or company.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work with multiple teams to streamline proposal development, improve project pursuit tracking processes, and help craft winning strategies that support the success of our teams and long-term health of our client relationships
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the updating of project pursuit tracking tools and ensuring data “hygiene” (accuracy and cleanliness) for client and pursuit tracking.
- Lead and coordinate the proposal development process from start to submittal, ensuring compliance with client requests and alignment to the firm’s capabilities.
- Monitor public RFP platforms and identify opportunities for pursuit in conjunction with team leadership.
- Support client interview preparation and proposal content development.
- Support teams in the collection (and storage) of project and activity-related content for future proposal use (or as otherwise designated).
- Support in the maintenance and “hygiene” of content management system(s).
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional written & oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Expert-level abilities to prioritize and organize (and yet still work within a ‘flexible’ system).
- High emotional intelligence and ability to successfully manage interpersonal relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CRM systems and business development tools
- VantagePoint/Deltek experience is a plus
- Familiarity with public bid platforms (Ex: Bonfire, BidSync, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint site creation/editing
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Ability to set up and participate in activities, which may include squatting, bending, and lifting.
Position Pays between $50,000 to $80,000 depending on expereince
