Civis Analytics helps mission-driven organizations harness the power of data and AI to drive impact. We’re looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Specialist to lead our customer acquisition and top-of-funnel growth efforts. In this role, you’ll own and optimize multi-channel campaigns to build awareness, generate qualified leads, and accelerate adoption of our platform and services. You'll work cross-functionally, lead high-impact initiatives, and play a central role in amplifying our brand and pipeline.

Salary: $72,000 annually

Key responsibilities

2025 and 2026 will be pivotal years at Civis, as we launch a series of differentiated analytics and AI features. You’ll help shape and execute growth strategies to scale our reach in the nonprofit and public-good sectors. Initial priorities include:

  • Email program ownership: Design and manage a high-performing, test-driven email program. Our existing prospect and customer list is a major opportunity, and we’re looking for someone to turn it into a reliable channel for awareness, lead capture, and event recruitment.

  • Digital customer storytelling & promotion: Support the execution and promotion of a digital customer-story series highlighting our work with premier nonprofits. You’ll collaborate with our technical and account teams to ensure narrative consistency and maximize impact.
  • Social media growth: Help shape and maintain a consistent social media presence. Work with in-house experts to spotlight innovations—especially in AI—and drive engagement, follower growth, shares, and conversions. You won’t be expected to write original content, but you’ll own promotion and channel strategy.

  • Campaign measurement & optimization: Maintain a simple marketing dashboard and track funnel KPIs to evaluate performance. You’ll have room to test, iterate, and explore new channels—whether paid campaigns, sponsored content, or other tactics. You’ll be expected to experiment with and utilize AI marketing automation technology that we will support.
  • Event marketing support: Support in-person and virtual events that drive visibility and pipeline. This includes major industry conferences and our own annual event focused on the nonprofit sector.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Growth marketing expertise: 5+ years in growth, digital, or demand generation marketing roles, ideally in B2B software or SaaS.
  • Multi-channel campaign execution: Proven success running email, social, and multichannel campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Experimentation approach: Strong analytical skills with a test-and-learn approach.
  • Social content development expertise: Ability to create and optimize social content across the buyer journey that drives and reinforces a consistent demand-influencing narrative.
  • SEO & Conversation Optimization: Familiarity with SEO and web performance best practices
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with email tools such as Pardot, HubSpot, etc. and familiarity with CRM’s (e.g., Salesforce) and content management systems (e.g., Wordpress, Webflow).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on Paid Media Management: Experience managing paid campaigns across search, social, and display.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Experience: Ability to create and test hypotheses that improve lead capture and sales conversion.
  • Tools: Experience with Webflow, Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of the Data & Analytics Industry: Knowledge of the needs and challenges faced by data science and analytics practitioners.
  • Content Development: Business software writing and distribution on digital platforms.

You Should Apply If:

  • You’re a hands-on marketer who thrives on owning campaigns from idea to execution.
  • You’re data-driven, curious, and motivated to drive real impact in the public good space.
  • You have experience marketing technical products and enjoy working independently.

You Should Not Apply If:

  • You prefer high structure, large teams, or roles focused only on strategy.
  • You’re uncomfortable working in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.
  • You lack experience with campaign execution or technical product marketing.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
