As an Account Executive at Civitas Learning, you’ll join a team of relentless, strategic, and resourceful individuals dedicated to equipping higher education to improve student outcomes. You'll become a consultative sales expert in the higher education sector and propel revenue growth while becoming a trusted partner to academic stakeholders, helping them embed and deploy the Student Impact Platform to improve the student outcomes that matter most.
In collaboration with the Sales, Customer Development, Product, and Marketing teams, you'll continuously refine our value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning to resonate with educational decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing new partners, pinpointing high-potential opportunities, and executing strategies to capture them.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within your assigned accounts.
- Navigate complex academic institutions to reach key decision-makers, educate them about our services, and help them succeed with Civitas. You'll own the full sales cycle, from first outbound to close.
- Be resourceful - don’t wait and proactively get the answers you need internally and externally.
- Be relentless - be in constant pursuit of your goals at Civitas and help our partners succeed.
- Be strategic - strategic with your approach to your set of accounts and how you spend your time and our customers' time. Always be prepared and never waste anyone’s time.
- Own your set of accounts, including territory strategy from prospect to close.
- Collaborate across our GTM team; sales, business development, marketing, and customer success.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 Years of Experience in Software Sales (Closing & Prospecting Experience Preferred)
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Proven track record of success in previous sales roles
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bonus: Experience working in education technology
