What You Will Do

  • Support control design and validation using MATLAB/Simulink alongside senior engineers.
  • Participate in rapid prototyping, iteration, and troubleshooting in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Contribute to documentation, test procedures, and design trade studies to support rapid learning and iteration.

What You Bring

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience (through internships, coursework, research, or personal projects) in:
    • Power electronics
    • Control theory
    • Digital systems
    • MATLAB/Simulink
  • Comfort working in environments with ambiguity, changing requirements, and limited process.
  • Willingness to learn quickly, take ownership, and ask good questions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in small teams.

What Would Be Helpful

  • Exposure to mixed-signal circuit design, including power management, ADCs/DACs, and op-amps.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, processors, or FPGAs.
  • Programming experience in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power electronics test setups.

Salary Range:  $30-$45 an hour. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
