Senior Mechanical Engineer
Clean Crop Technologies, Inc. (“Clean Crop”) stops crop loss at the source, removing pathogens from seeds before they are planted, increasing yields, reducing in-field waste, and improving food safety. Clean Crop’s Clean Current technology combines electricity and food-grade gases to create cold plasma, inactivating a broad spectrum of contaminants from seed surfaces in a dry, automated, and residue-free process. We are building a dynamic team of engineers and technicians, administrators, and scientists with a passion for innovation, experimentation, pushing the envelope of what's possible, and a hunger to work at an agile start-up. If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk!
Are you ready to help revolutionize agriculture? Clean Crop Technologies, recently recognized as a winner in Fast Company's 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards, is pioneering cutting-edge cold-plasma technology to boost crop yields and tackle one of the world's most pressing challenges.
Our groundbreaking innovation removes up to 99% of contaminants from seeds, potentially saving $220 billion annually in global crop losses. We're making a real, measurable impact on food security and sustainability.
As our new Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Product Development team, you'll be at the forefront of this mission, designing and testing critical subsystems for our industry-changing technology. You'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to improving global agricultural practices and efficiency.
Join us in Holyoke, MA, where we've just launched our first processing facility, and be part of a rapidly growing startup that's already signed over $3 million in contracts with multinational growers. With $19.5 million in funding and plans for expansion, your expertise will be crucial in scaling our technology to reach more growers nationwide and beyond.
If you're passionate about sustainable solutions and want to contribute to a technology that's unlocking more food without using more water, land, or energy, we want to hear from you.
