SEO and Website Lead

As CLEAR’s Website & SEO Lead, you’ll own our website as a core growth channel driving traffic, engagement, and enrollments. You’ll lead day-to-day SEO and content initiatives, grow our blog and FAQs, and ensure our site is always optimized to tell CLEAR’s story. Partnering closely with the Paid Media and Creative teams, you’ll use SEO and website insights to optimize campaigns and landing pages, maximizing performance across channels.
You’ll bring a marketer’s mindset to SEO by blending content strategy and data-driven optimization. Collaborating with Creative and Marketing, you’ll execute website strategies that improve the customer journey and strengthen CLEAR’s presence in the search landscape. Your work will directly shape how customers find, experience, and enroll with CLEAR driving measurable growth and impact.
What you'll do:
- Own website strategy & management: Oversee CLEAR’s website as a marketing channel ensuring content, UX, and performance align with business goals.
- Lead SEO marketing initiatives: Drive organic growth by improving search visibility through keyword research, on-page optimization, and enhanced results (e.g., FAQs, how-to guides, events).
- Build a content engine: Develop and scale a blog strategy that strengthens our thought leadership and fuels enrollments by garnering organic search engine and LLM-referral traffic.
- Implement structured data: Leverage structured data Schema Markup to increase appearances in SERP Features and visibility in LLMs, statically for individual pages and programmatically where feasible.
- Maintain content quality & governance: Ensure all web content follows SEO best practices, brand guidelines, and provides a clear, consistent user experience.
- Partner with paid media: Collaborate on campaign landing pages and site optimizations that improve customer journeys and maximize ROAS and conversion rates.
- Support launches & campaigns: Work cross-functionally with Product, Creative, and Marketing to execute site enhancements for campaigns, product launches, and always-on programs.
- Manage site health & best practices: Monitor site speed, metadata, and overall performance to ensure a smooth user experience and strong search visibility.
- Track & optimize performance: Leverage Google Tag Manager and analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Looker) to track key website events, run A/B tests, and turn insights into continuous improvements.
- Analyze and improve customer journeys: Evaluate how visitors move through the site and enhance their experience by making pages faster, easier to use, and aligned with Google’s performance standards.
- Site testing & personalization: Launch testing and personalization initiatives on the sitewide or individual page level, leveraging insights from said initiatives to improve the production site’s conversation rate.Search innovation: Balance today’s SEO best practices with the future of AI-powered discovery, helping CLEAR remain visible and relevant as customer search behaviors evolve.
How you'll measure success:
- Demonstrate tangible improvements in website traffic, user engagement, and overall SEO performance and share progress with leadership.
- Expand CLEAR’s content footprint through a blog and FAQ strategy that drives engagement and thought leadership.
- Execute A/B tests and optimizations that measurably improve enrollments across the website.
- Develop strong partnerships with Marketing and Creative teams by collaborating effectively to deliver website strategies, campaigns, and content that support CLEAR’s growth goals.
What you're great at:
- A passion for improving the customer experience through innovative web and SEO strategies.
- Proven success managing websites as core marketing channels with a track record of enhancing site performance to meet business goals.
- Proficiency in WebFlow and Webflow Optimize (FKA Intellimize) or similar website-building platforms.
- Skilled in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools like Looker.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for reporting, analysis, and collaboration.
- A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers on website enhancements.
- GEO/AEO/AIO initiatives and strategies to drive visibility in LLMs and Google AI Overviews
- The ability to balance short-term wins with long-term strategic growth.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially in working closely with Product, Creative, and Marketing teams.
- A self-starter with a data-driven mindset, continuously striving to drive improvement and change, while owning and leading SEO and website strategy.

The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
