Who We’re Looking For - Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Clearlink, you’ll win the hearts and wallets of your accounts to guide our internal teams to deliver high-quality lead traffic. Key aspects of the role include closely analyzing click lead performance data to exceed advertiser KPIs, creating effective strategic plans that build trust with advertisers, proactively identifying improvements and lead cross-functional teams to execute, foster internal and external relationships to drive revenue growth, and identify and pursue net new growth opportunities. You will inherit an established book of business consisting of small to medium internet service providers that you will be responsible for protecting and, most importantly, growing. You will also lead the onboarding and growth of new accounts secured by the Business Development team. 

The Impact You'll Make

Client Support

  • Act as the lead point of contact and own all communication with your book of business; maintain and cultivate value-driven, collaborative client partnerships to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes while meeting or exceeding client expectations; understand client objectives and KPIs; ensure successful campaign delivery and execution.
  • Consistently grow client revenue and deliver volume of high-performing accounts month-over-month; develop and implement strategies to strengthen overall campaign performance. 
  • Accurately manage all aspects of assigned accounts, including reporting, forecasting and pacing, internal collaboration, and strategy.
  • Conduct deep marketing performance analysis to support account growth; identify, investigate, and resolve deviations in performance metrics (conversion rates, cost per order, acquisition, revenue per click, etc.).
  • Own successful campaign delivery and execution; monitor daily to ensure campaigns are tracking as expected; ensure acceptable traffic volume and content compliance.
  • Know when to act and make changes to influence performance KPI’s, when and how to communicate changes internally and externally, and be the trusted advisor and expert on your book of business both internally and externally.
  • Support client onboarding through the execution of legal, setup of performance tracking, identifying target KPI’s, management of partner assets, and internal organization.
  • Lead transitioning your book of business into a new support platform with automated billing and reporting, and be the lead administrator of the platform
  • Achieve revenue targets by using consultative selling based on historical statistics and mutual goals to grow client partnerships and increase product line usage.

Operations/Process Management

  • Maintain structured and detailed reporting documents for each account, proactively keep internal team resources updated reflecting each account's information for accurate reporting and team use
  • Follow the prescribed detailed note-taking requirements for historical documentation of account structure, performance tracking methods, KPI targets, and growth topics discussed on a regular basis
  • Perform Tune data entry and maintenance to ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and escalate discrepancies as they arise to enable fast action for internal and external stakeholders
  • Compile reporting from multiple data sources to aggregate clear and actionable performance monitoring for partners
  • Facilitate timely and accurate accounting and billing; monitor monthly budgets and revenue amounts; verify invoice delivery; manage accounts receivable to ensure payments are received on-time
  • Reconcile and analyze client-side reporting data; identify and resolve discrepancies

What You Bring

  • At least 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in account management or direct marketing at an agency 
  • Self-motivated to work independently, effectively manage time and priorities, and meet deadlines, all while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Strong organization and project management skills are essential to the success of this role
  • Experience working with G-Suite Sheets and Docs required
  • The ability to demonstrate confidence, resourcefulness, easily leverage internal resources and training materials to optimize or adjust, and adapt when a process is not available 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly articulate opinions and needs to all levels of the organization in a manner that drives the business forward; adjusts communication style to maximize effectiveness
  • Strong time management skills; can manage multiple tasks simultaneously; is adept at managing competing priorities
  • Highly accountable; takes pride in performance and strives to contribute to the company’s success
  • Encourages others to have a positive attitude and helps create a positive working environment; acts as a role model
  • Gives and accepts feedback and guidance with optimism and adjusts accordingly to meet the needs of the team and company
  • Establishes trust and builds collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
