Who We're Looking For - Digital Marketing Coordinator

CableTV.com helps readers compare providers, find streaming deals, and decide what to watch tonight. The Digital Marketing Specialist – Omnichannel will lead the execution and expansion of CableTV.com’s owned-channel marketing strategy across social media, email marketing, push notifications, and emerging messaging platforms. This role is responsible for amplifying CableTV.com’s editorial content, provider partnerships, and deals across marketing channels to drive audience growth, referral traffic, and affiliate revenue. The role will also help bring the brand to life through video and social content, occasionally appearing on camera as a digital ambassador for CableTV.com while collaborating with the Marketing Manager on broader video initiatives.

Clearlink is a remote-friendly company, prioritizing virtual and in-person collaboration. This is a remote-first role for candidates who are located outside of Utah and outside of commuting distance. For candidates residing within 50 miles of our Draper, Utah office, a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in-office is required.

The Impact You Will Make

Omnichannel Strategy & Execution  

  • Own and execute CableTV.com’s marketing presence across social media, email newsletters, push notifications, and emerging messaging platforms, including WhatsApp and SMS.  
  • Develop quarterly channel strategies aligned with traffic and revenue goals.  
  • Identify and test new distribution platforms, formats, and content styles to expand audience reach.  
  • Success Measure: Month-over-month growth in engagement, followers, subscribers, and affiliate-driven revenue.  

Content Amplification & Editorial Promotion  

  • Transform CableTV.com editorial content into engaging marketing campaigns across social, email, and push channels.  
  • Promote streaming guides, provider comparisons, deals, and Digital PR campaigns.  
  • Work closely with the Managing Editor and DPR team to ensure key stories and media coverage are amplified across marketing channels.  
  • Success Measure: Increased referral traffic and higher click-through rates on affiliate links.  

Video & Content Strategy  

  • Participate in short-form video initiatives across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.  
  • Support development of long-form video content in partnership with the Marketing Manager.  
  • Act as a digital ambassador for the brand when needed, appearing in content that promotes CableTV.com's expertise and editorial coverage.  
  • Success Measure: Growth in video reach, engagement, and traffic driven from video platforms.  

Analytics & BI

  • Pull GA4 and Looker data to create weekly dashboards, surface insights, recommend tests, and iterate.  
  • Success Measure: Actionable insights drive ≥10% YoY owned-channel session growth.  

Email & Push Marketing  

  • Own campaign development and execution for email newsletters and push notification campaigns.  
  • Write compelling subject lines, push titles, and promotional copy.  
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and engagement.  
  • Success Measure: Increased engagement and referral traffic driven from email and push campaigns.  

Channel Operations & Publishing

  • Maintain and manage the marketing content calendar across all owned channels.  
  • Schedule social content through the publishing platform (e.g., Metrical or similar) and manage campaign timing across marketing channels.  
  • Ensure marketing campaigns align with editorial priorities and promotional initiatives.  
  • Operational Expectations: Social content scheduled 30 days in advance; email campaigns scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance.  

Digital PR Amplification  

  • Collaborate with the Digital PR team to extend the reach of earned media placements and editorial campaigns.  
  • Create marketing campaigns that amplify press coverage and increase visibility of CableTV.com insights and research.  

Campaigns, Activations & Events  

  • Support promotional initiatives including virtual giveaways, audience activations, and special marketing campaigns.  
  • Assist with occasional in-person or virtual events that help promote CableTV.com and strengthen audience engagement.  

Editorial Contributions  

  • Write and publish one weekly article supporting CableTV.com marketing initiatives and streaming discovery topics.  
  • Examples include what-to-watch recommendations, streaming highlights, and editorial tie-ins designed for social, email, and push distribution.

What You Bring 

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field. 
    • Or equivalent professional experience with demonstrated ability to execute the position’s functions.  
  • Experience managing social media, email marketing, or digital marketing campaigns.  
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, video content formats, and audience engagement strategies.  
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills for marketing and editorial content.  
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in video content.  
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.  

Preferred  

  • Experience working with digital media or affiliate content websites.  
  • Experience with social scheduling platforms, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools such as GA4.  
  • Familiarity with video editing tools and short-form video creation.  
  • Interest in entertainment, streaming platforms, and digital media trends.

  • 1. +15% owned-channel traffic to CableTV.com year-over-year (YOY)  
  • 2. +20% partner CTR from email and push versus prior year  
  • 3. Net +50k subscribers added to email list via on-site capture  
  • 4. ≥3 channel experiments launched per quarter with documented learnings
