SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Deliver virtual, in-office, or in-home therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults in foster care.
  • Carry a caseload of up to 15 active cases; acceptance of new referrals is based on the contractor’s availability.
  • Conduct clinical assessments to establish diagnostic eligibility and identify treatment needs for accepted referrals.

  • Complete and submit documentation of all services provided (assessments, service plans, progress notes, and billing information) within the timelines required by Clear Mind and applicable payers.
  • Respond to and document crisis situations involving clients on the contractor’s caseload in accordance with Clear Mind’s crisis protocols.
  • Participate in case consultations and quality reviews with the Clinical Director, Medical Director, and Nurse Practitioner as reasonably needed to coordinate client care.
  • Comply with Texas licensing board rules, HIPAA, payer and Medicaid requirements, and the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.

CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP

  • This is an independent contractor engagement, not employment. The contractor is not eligible for employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, workers’ compensation, or unemployment insurance.
  • Schedule and methods. The contractor sets their own schedule and determines the methods and techniques used to deliver services, consistent with professional standards and payer requirements.

  • The contractor provides their own equipment, including a HIPAA-compliant device and secure internet connection for telehealth, and reliable transportation for in-home sessions.
  • The contractor maintains their own professional liability (malpractice) insurance at the limits stated in the Agreement and provides a current certificate of insurance.
  • Non-exclusive. The contractor is free to provide services to other practices, agencies, or private clients, provided there is no conflict with obligations to Clear Mind clients.
