The Role:

We are looking for a trading / sales support analyst to work on the day to day aspects of futures trading including execution, trade matching, record maintenance, operational workflows and processes and administrative assistance.  This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to contribute within a fast-paced financial technology environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to make a big impact through building this capability across the business globally. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Trade Execution: Support the execution of trades and monitor market activities across various exchanges, including LME, ICE, and CME.
  • Trade Matching and Reconciliation: Ensure that trades and transfers are matched and reconciled within exchange timelines, collaborating closely with Operations and Risk.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trades to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Operational Enhancement: Collaborate with team members to optimize operations and workflow processes.
  • Future/Option Expiry Alerts: Notify the team and clients regarding futures and options expiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide Administrative Assistance: Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow. This may include organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with project coordination. 

 

Skills required:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a supporting role within a financial setting. Prior experience in banking or financial institutions is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or master degree in Finance, Economics, Business or tech degree 
  • Expertise in LME Futures and Options settlements, with a focus on European and Asian exchanges is highly preferred
  • Must be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, this is is essential for effective communication within the team and with clients. Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal and written skills in both languages.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Excellent ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared goals.
