Clear Street is building new infrastructure for today’s financial institutions. Founded in 2018, Clear Street is an independent, non-bank prime broker replacing the legacy infrastructure used across the capital markets today. 

We started from scratch by building a completely cloud-native clearing and custody system designed for today’s complex global markets. The Role: 

As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will partner with recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers across the firm to help us identify, evaluate and hire the best talent. You are a proactive, highly organized, effective communicator and you can engage stakeholders and candidates to help guide them through the interview process. As the sole individual in this role, you will ensure that the candidate has an exceptional experience and is aligned to our values. Establishing and maintaining relationships with our hiring managers is a critical part of the role, we have an engaging group of people that want to partner with us.

We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy individual contributor that has excellent recruiting coordination and relationship management skills to contribute to our dedicated Talent Acquisition team.  This role is highly visible and will involve juggling various priorities as we look to build high performing teams across the company and will require someone to be in the office at least four days a week.  In addition to the recruiting coordination responsibilities, some of your time will be spent on various People projects and initiatives as capacity allows and opportunities are available.  

 

You Will:

  • Own the recruiting coordination of all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle from job postings to offer letters including interview scheduling, candidate communications, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management, gathering feedback and creating employment agreements.  
  • Partner closely with Recruiters to understand the hiring needs and process to ensure a great experience for hiring managers and candidates.   
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates through the interview scheduling process to quickly and efficiently book interviews over video conferencing or in-office meetings.  
  • Administer, maintain and update our ATS, Greenhouse, to manage candidate and job data, ensuring it is compliant, secure, up to date, thorough, and accessible when needed for scheduled and ad/hoc reporting requests.
  • Draft, edit and post job descriptions for open roles across the company.
  • Partner with Legal to create employment agreements and manage template libraries in order to quickly generate offers.  This also includes liaising with Legal and the Recruiter(s) on any non-standard terms and conditions.
  • Own reporting on recruitment activities.  
  • Research best practices and consistently find ways to improve our processes and policies. 
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications on employer branding initiatives such as our partnerships with LinkedIn, BuiltIn, Greenhouse and any external recruitment events.  
  • Learn how to and partner with recruiters to build candidate pipelines and source.
  • Assist the People Operations Manager and Chief People Officer with initiatives and projects. 

Requirements:

  • You have at least two (2) years of previous recruiting coordinator or HR experience in a fast paced environment and an interest in growing your talent acquisition/recruiting knowledge. 
  • You have at least two (2) years of experience working with an ATS, both as a user and an administrator, to assist hiring managers and candidates with requests as well as the ability to build SOPs and document end user training.   Prior experience with Greenhouse is highly preferred.
  • You have strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have the ability to create order when priorities are often changing; a project management mindset and experience utilizing project tracking methodology and systems
  • You consistently show attention to detail; you will be working with information that is extremely important to the people of this company.
  • You take initiative to improve processes and are able to utilize technology to find ways to maximize efficiency. 

Bonus Points:

  • If you have experience coordinating interviews across multiple locations and time zones for our global teams.
  • If you have prior experience in a startup or a small to mid-sized company experiencing rapid growth.

 

The Base Salary Range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
