Construction Scheduler

What The Role Is

Reporting to the Director of Project Controls, the Construction Scheduler will work with a large cross-functional team to set up, track, and analyze project schedules for a portfolio of diverse renewable energy projects. The Construction Scheduler will interface and assist the project management team, engineering and development groups, EPC Contractors, OEM Suppliers, and key vendors in monitoring and updating the progress of projects across the company’s portfolio; including project health, actual performance, and forecasting relative to key metrics and baselines.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Advanced understanding of project development and construction sequencing, typical durations, standard scopes of work, and EPC contracts. Solar, battery, and wind construction experience is a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of schedule analysis, Time impact analysis, claim disputes.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Excellent proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience creating templates, tools, and macros in Excel to quickly and consistently produce professional database reports. Experience with VBA programming and Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP system, is a plus.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work, and manage relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants, and contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, mathematical competence, creative design, and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Bring

  • B.S. or Associate degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related subject, or equivalent work experience. High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the management, coordination and scheduling a portfolio of multiple projects under development and construction.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Excellent proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work, manage relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants and contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, mathematical competence, creative design and problem-solving skills.

What Would Be Nice

  • Renewable Energy construction experience preferred.
  • Experience creating templates, tools, and macros in Excel, VBA, Power BI, and MS Project to quickly and consistently produce professional database reports. 
  • Experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP system, a plus.
  • Advanced understanding of project development and construction sequencing, typical durations, standard scopes of work, and EPC contracts. Solar and wind construction experience is a plus.

 

Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.)

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations

$150,000 - $165,000 USD
