Senior Treasury Analyst
What The Role Is
Clearway Energy is looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join its Treasury Team in Princeton, NJ. Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, this role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, with a primary focus on optimizing treasury systems, enhancing cash, debt, and collateral management processes, and driving automation initiatives that improve efficiency and accuracy across the treasury function. The ideal candidate brings hands-on project management experience and thrives in environments where they can own initiatives from idea through execution. This person will collaborate with team members in Treasury and across accounting, finance, and IT to support the operation of existing assets and the development of a nationwide pipeline of new renewable energy projects for the future.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support and act as a key strategist and advisor to senior management on departmental initiatives to improve the technology footprint.
- Serve as a day-to-day power user and subject matter expert for the company's newly implemented S4 HANA TMS platform, supporting configuration, data integrity, and system enhancements
- Lead other technology implementations, upgrades, and integration projects, coordinating across Treasury, IT, and external vendors to deliver on scope, timeline, and budget
- Maintain and improve system documentation, user guides, and controls
- Identify manual, repetitive treasury processes and lead end-to-end projects to automate them using tools such as Power Automate or TMS-native workflows
- Manage project plans, stakeholder communication, and testing cycles for treasury technology initiatives
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI to provide real-time visibility into liquidity, cash positions, and KPIs
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted tools to enhance treasury operations, fraud detection, and decision-making
- General Treasury Support: Support and act as a backup for bank account administration, cash forecast and liquidity, collateral portfolio, and treasury payments
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Treasury Operations, or Accounting functions.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in SAP S4 HANA accounting systems and S4 HANA Treasury Management Workstations. Or at least hands-on experience with other TMS platforms.
- Ability to work on a variety of disparate tasks, demanding differing skill sets.
- Process improvement-oriented mindset with a drive to innovate.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects or process improvement initiatives, with the ability to drive work independently from initiation to completion
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
What Would Be Nice
- CTP or interest in obtaining certification.
- Experience with the implementation of new systems and processes.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate, Python, or RPA software
- Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, real-time team environment.
- Motivated self-starter with attention to detail.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations
$100,000 - $110,000 USD
