Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of People to join our team. As the Head of People, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving recruitment efforts, managing internal benefits and resources, and overseeing the onboarding process for new team members. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that our people management strategies align with our business goals and support our growth.
 
 
Responsibilities:
1.      Recruiting and Talent Acquisition:
  • Lead and manage the recruiting process to attract top talent across all departments.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to build a diverse and high-performing team.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective job descriptions and hiring plans.
  • Oversee the candidate selection process, including interviewing, assessment, and offer negotiations.
2.      Employee Onboarding and Integration:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new team members have a seamless transition into the company.
  • Create and manage orientation sessions, training programs, and resources to support new hires.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding process, making improvements as needed.
3.      Benefits and Resources Management:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Ensure that all benefits are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with employee needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
4.      Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company values.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
  • Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
5.      Performance Management and Development:
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Identify training and development needs and create programs to support employee growth and career progression.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to managers and employees to enhance their skills and performance.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university.
  • 4-5+ years experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a fast-growing startup or tech company.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Experience with HR software and tools for recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
 
Salary:
$120k - $160k (+ bonus). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
