🌍 The Role

We’re looking for our very first People & Business Partner to help shape the future of our team as we grow fast and expand globally. This is a unique opportunity for someone who’s done the HR Business Partner thing before - ideally in startups or scaleups - and knows how to switch between strategy and hands-on work without skipping a beat.

You’ll work closely with leaders across the company to build strong teams, support our people, and help us scale thoughtfully. From coaching managers on performance and development, to workforce planning and employee engagement, you'll have a real impact on how we grow, and do so well.

If you're excited by big challenges, room to build, and the chance to help shape one of the most active open source communities in the world, we’d love to meet you.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders to align people priorities with business goals; from talent planning to team structure to org design.
  • Coach and support managers on everything from performance feedback to team development and tricky people issues.
  • Own our performance cycles and talent planning, and help us think about how we grow the right skills across the org.
  • Drive employee engagement: you’ll run our annual engagement survey and help teams take meaningful action from the results.
  • Collaborate on core people programs: compensation, benefits, onboarding, learning, and more.
  • Use people data and insights to guide decisions and identify opportunities to improve how we work.
  • Keep us on the right side of employment law and internal policies, especially across EMEA, and ideally APJ and AMER too.
  • Lead or support special projects that make our people experience better, more inclusive, and ready for scale.

🙋 Who You Are

  • You’ve worked in a People Partner / HRBP (or similar) role and thrive in fast-paced, growing companies.
  • You’ve partnered with teams across multiple regions and understand how to navigate different employment laws and cultures.
  • You’re a builder at heart: you like rolling up your sleeves and creating from scratch.
  • You’re an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, across cultures, levels, and time zones.
  • You’re strategic but not afraid to get into the weeds.
  • You love data but always keep people at the center.
  • You’re comfortable in a remote-first, international setup, and can flex with whatever the day throws at you.

âś… What You Bring

  • 5+ years in HR or People roles, with experience in business partnering, talent, or employee relations.
  • Proven track record in fast-growing companies - you know how to build systems that scale.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices, especially in EMEA. Bonus if you know about APJ or AMER too.
  • You’re great at managing competing priorities and know how to balance long-term thinking with short-term needs.
  • You’ve worked with HRIS tools and use data to back up your decisions.
  • You’re proactive, practical, and care deeply about people and culture.
