About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BD Engagement Manager to serve as the primary liaison between our Business Development and proposal team and a key strategic partner. This critical role will ensure the successful execution of our joint sales process, driving deal flow and maximizing the potential of our collaboration. The successful candidate will be expected to act as a bridge between Click Therapeutics and our partner, ensuring smooth communication, effective training, and efficient resource utilization to drive successful deal closures. This role requires a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of the life sciences industry.
This position can be based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities or at our industrious office in Boston, MA. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 3 days in office each week.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for our strategic partner's global client executives, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and resources to equip our strategic partner's sales team with the necessary knowledge to effectively promote Click Therapeutics' solutions.
- Manage the phased rollout of the joint sales process, ensuring alignment with Click Therapeutics' strategic objectives.
- Proactively monitor and track sales pipeline progress, providing regular updates and reports to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of high-quality project proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Click Therapeutics' products and services, providing technical and clinical support to our strategic partner's sales team, as well as ensuring strong understanding within Click of partner’s offering.
- Identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges in the sales process, proactively developing solutions to ensure successful deal closure.
- Foster strong relationships with our strategic partner's sales leadership and key personnel, building trust and rapport.
- Optimize the collaboration process to minimize resource strain on internal teams, while maximizing sales effectiveness.
- Gather feedback from our strategic partner's sales team to continuously improve training, materials, and support.
- Work closely with the internal Click Therapeutics BD team, and proposal writers to ensure a smooth sales process.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in a life sciences-related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, alliance management, or consulting within the life sciences industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, including clinical trials, regulatory processes, and market access.
- Experience in a client-facing role, preferably with a consulting or sales background.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work independently to achieve objectives.
- Ability to relate and work with a wide range of colleagues across varied functions, experience levels, and backgrounds (internally and externally) to achieve results.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between: $150,000 - $180,000. The final base salary will be dependent upon skills, experience and location. In addition to the base salary, Click Therapeutics offers an annual performance-based cash bonus and a generous equity package.
