About the Role:
Contract Position - Minimum 3 months with potential for extension or conversion based on project needs and mutual interest.
We're seeking a Mid-level to Senior Product Designer to provide dedicated design production support for our digital product portfolio. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced designers who excel at translating concepts into polished, production-ready deliverables while working within established design frameworks and product strategies.
As an experienced contractor, you'll focus on the execution and delivery phases of the design process, taking direction from product and design leadership to create high-quality assets, specifications, and design system components that enable seamless development handoffs.
This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 3 days in office each week.
Responsibilities:
- Production Design Excellence: Create pixel-perfect, production-ready designs, assets, and specifications based on approved concepts and wireframes.
- Design System Implementation: Build out design system components, maintain consistency, and ensure scalable implementation across products.
- Advanced Figma Execution: Leverage sophisticated Figma workflows to create organized, developer-friendly files and maintain design system libraries.
- Development Handoff Support: Provide detailed specifications, redlines, and assets that enable smooth engineering implementation.
- Quality Assurance: Review implementations against designs and iterate on production assets as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand requirements and deliver against project timelines.
- Documentation & Organization: Maintain clean, well-organized design files and contribute to design process documentation.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a product designer with strong focus on design production and delivery.
- Expert-level Figma proficiency with advanced component management, auto-layout, and developer handoff skills.
- Design systems experience including component creation, library management, and documentation.
- Production-ready design expertise with proven ability to create detailed specifications and assets.
- Agile/Scrum experience with ability to manage deliverables within sprint cycles.
- Development collaboration skills with understanding of technical constraints and implementation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards across multiple projects.
Compensation:
$100/hr - $125/hr

For each project, briefly describe your role, the problem, your approach, and the results. Emphasize how your design system knowledge and Figma skills contributed to your product design work.
