Now Hiring: Commercial Banker- KO Team

We’re seeking a Commercial Banker- KO Team work directly with our Executive Chairman and lead his “opportunities” team. As the leader of that team, you will skillfully leverage and develop the Executive Chairman’s connections while also building and managing your own portfolio. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted deposit, fee income, and commercial lending goals. This will be accomplished through providing superior customer service, cross-selling of products and services, development of new business opportunities, structuring and closing of commercial loans and the maintenance and servicing of the commercial loan portfolio. This role is positioned to service the Central Florida market.

 

What You’ll Contribute:

Relationship Management, Business Development, & Sales Performance

  • Proactively identify and solicit new loan opportunities.
  • Achieve sales meeting and sales call goals.
  • Cross-sell all bank products and services while developing and maintaining whole customer relationships.
  • Meet deposit and DDA growth goals.
  • Develop referral relationships with realtors, CPA’s, builders, and other sources.
  • Actively represent Climate First Bank and its products and services in the community.
  • Attend networking events.

Commercial Loan Administration, Portfolio Management, & Credit

  • Solicit, negotiate, and coordinate loan closings.
  • Monitor credit quality of the loan portfolio to ensure proper credit grade application and risk identification for each loan.
  • Consistently monitor portfolio health including identification and adjustment of proper credit grades and associated risk of each loan since loan inception.
  • Monitor past-due loans and coordinate collection efforts.
  • Report on all loans more than 10 days past-due to the loan committee.
  • Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of commercial loans and lines of credit.

Client Service, Advisory & Community Impact

  • Provision of superior customer service, including explanation of the loan process and answering questions, advising borrowers on financial status and methods of payment.
  • Contribute to achievement of relevant sustainability and community goals including Community Reinvestment Act and multi-cultural lending goals.

What Makes a Stand-Out Candidate:

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, ideally in a business related field.
  • 5+ years of prior commercial banking experience, especially CRE and C & I.
  • Existing portfolio and network in Central Florida.
  • Experience in a fast-growing banking environment preferred.
  • Supervisory experience.

The Work Environment:

  • Remote role within Central Florida.
  • Occasional U.S. travel for company events or networking sessions.
