Now Hiring: Creative Director

We’re seeking a Creative Director who’ll own creative vision, quality, and consistency across Climate First Bancorp, Climate First Bank, OneEthos, and future portfolio companies. You will turn strategy and briefs into distinctive campaign platforms and channel-ready work that advances business objectives and strengthens our brands. As a hands-on player-coach, you will lead our Creative Designer and guide copy, design, content, and production. This role provides the senior creative judgment required for an effective in-house model, ensuring the team operates as a brand and growth engine - not simply a production shop.

What You’ll Contribute:

Creative Vision & Concept Development

  • Set and evolve the enterprise creative vision, translating strategy into distinctive concepts and campaign platforms.

Integrated Campaign Leadership

  • Lead creative development from brief through launch across paid media, organic social, CRM, web, video, photography, print, out-of-home, presentations, branch materials, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure ideas become cohesive, channel-appropriate executions and oversee external production partners when specialized support is required.

Brand Stewardship & Creative Quality

  • Serve as the senior creative steward for Climate First Bancorp, Climate First Bank, and OneEthos.
  • Apply and evolve the brand architecture, visual identity, design system, and voice while maintaining high standards of craft, consistency, accessibility, and relevance.

Hands-On Creative Development

  • Operate as a true player-coach.
  • Write or refine campaign headlines, core messaging, and high-impact copy; develop concepts and layouts; provide art direction; and step into execution when needed.
  • Use AI and modern tools to increase speed and scale while preserving human judgment, originality, accuracy, brand integrity, and compliance.

Team Leadership & Creative Operations

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Creative Designer, setting clear expectations and providing actionable feedback.
  • Partner across Marketing and the business lines to prioritize work, manage tradeoffs, improve briefs and workflows, and apply performance insights.
  • Build an in-house capability that combines agency-level thinking with internal speed and knowledge.

Champion Our Mission, Protect What Matters

  • Adopt a commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice.
  • Bring curiosity, humility, and initiative to learning, and apply it to create measurable, values-aligned outcomes in our products, programs, campaigns, and partnerships.
  • Continue building your understanding of our values and sustainability practices.
  • Remain vigilant regarding cybersecurity and complete all mandatory compliance and IT training.
  • Learn and follow established bank policies and regulations, especially BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC requirements.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, IT, and subject-matter experts so work is accurate, supportable, secure, and approved.

What Makes a Stand-Out Candidate:

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess 5+ years of progressive experience in creative development, art direction, brand design, or advertising in an agency, in-house team, or both, including at least 3 years leading integrated work and developing creative talent.

Portfolio & Conceptual Leadership  - Your portfolio demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, integrated campaign development, art direction, brand systems, digital execution, and multichannel storytelling. You can move from the strategic idea to the details that make the work distinctive and effective.

People Leadership & Player-Coach Mindset - You have experience directing, coaching, and developing designers and other creative contributors. You set a high bar, give constructive feedback, and know when to lead, collaborate, or personally step into the work.

Copywriting, Storytelling & Presentation - You are a strong conceptual and verbal communicator who can develop and refine headlines, campaign narratives, scripts, presentations, and customer-facing copy. You simplify complex products and confidently present creative ideas to executives and other stakeholders.

Creative Technology & production Fluency - You bring advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, plus strong PowerPoint skills and familiarity with Canva, Figma, motion, video, photography, and digital production. You use generative AI and emerging tools responsibly to accelerate concepting, versioning, and production.

Business, Channel & performance Orientation - You connect creative choices to business objectives, audience needs, channel behavior, and performance. You understand paid media, organic social, CRM, web, and offline channels and use results and testing to improve the work.

Banking, Fintech & Regulated-Industry Acumen – Experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry is valued but not required. You learn complex products quickly and partner effectively with Compliance and subject-matter experts to develop work that is persuasive, accurate, and supportable.

Entreprenuerial, Organized & Collaborative Leadership – You thrive in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment and can manage multiple priorities without sacrificing craft or follow-through. You are resourceful, decisive, low-ego, and solutions-oriented, and you build trust while moving work from ambiguity to impact.

The Work Environment:

  • Remote role within the State of Florida, ideally local to Central Florida.
  • Occasional on-site U.S. travel for company events or leadership sessions.
  • Tobacco-Free employer. All employees must affirm to be non-smokers or affirm commitment to cessation within 90-days of offer acceptance.
