What to expect as a Senior Manager, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

As Senior Manager, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing, you will build and run an always-on engine for lead conversion, cross-sell, retention, and relationship growth across Climate First Bancorp, Climate First Bank, OneEthos, and future portfolio companies. You will map prospect and customer journeys, identify the next best action or product, and turn customer signals into relevant email, SMS, nurture, onboarding, engagement, and retention programs. Working across Marketing, business lines, Operations, Data, Technology, and Compliance, you will help move customers from a single product into broader relationships - increasing products per customer, deposits, lending relationships, retention, and lifetime value.

What You’ll Contribute in This Role:

  • CRM & Lifecycle Strategy - Develop the enterprise CRM and lifecycle roadmap across prospecting, lead nurture, onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, retention, reactivation, and advocacy. Define priority audiences, moments, channels, value exchanges, and KPIs based on customer needs and business opportunity.
  • Journey Design & Lead Conversion - Map end-to-end prospect and customer journeys, identify friction and communication gaps, and build triggered programs that move people toward the next meaningful action. Improve lead conversion by aligning messages, timing, sales follow-up, and handoffs across Marketing and the business lines.
  • Cross-Sell & Relationship Growth - Use product ownership, behavior, life stage, engagement, and eligibility signals to identify relevant next-best-product opportunities. Build coordinated cross-sell programs that deepen relationships without overwhelming customers or sacrificing trust, suitability, or customer experience.
  • Campaign Build, Deployment & Channel Operations - Plan, build (in collaboration with Creative Director and Creative Designer), quality-check, deploy, and optimize email, SMS, nurture, onboarding, engagement, and retention campaigns. Own briefs, audience requirements, workflow logic, testing, approvals, scheduling, suppression rules, and deployment discipline while partnering with Creative on content and assets.
  • Segmentation, Personalization & Data Stewardship - Develop actionable segments and personalization logic using customer, product, behavioral, and engagement data. Maintain strong audience, list, preference, consent, and suppression practices; partner with Data and Technology to improve data quality, availability, and responsible use.
  • Testing, Measurement & Technology Partnership - Establish lifecycle KPIs and testing roadmaps; measure conversion, engagement, product penetration, cross-sell, retention, and lifetime value. Translate results into action and partner with Marketing Operations, Salesforce owners, Technology, and Analytics on platform capabilities, integrations, tracking, and reporting.
  • Mission, Privacy & Compliance - Design communications that are relevant, transparent, and consistent with our values. Follow bank policies and requirements governing privacy, consent, preferences, disclosures, fair lending, data security, and marketing approvals; collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, IT, and business partners so programs are accurate, supportable, and responsibly executed.

What You’ll Leverage in this Role:

  • Experience & Education - You have 5+ years of progressive experience in CRM, lifecycle, retention, loyalty, marketing automation, or customer growth, including ownership of complex multichannel programs. You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Lifecycle Strategy & Journey Orchestration - You have designed customer journeys and always-on programs spanning lead nurture, onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, retention, and reactivation. You understand how timing, sequence, channel, message, and human follow-up combine to move customers forward.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation Expertise - You bring strong hands-on proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise platform, including journey building, automation, audience selection, dynamic content, testing, quality assurance, scheduling, and deployment. Salesforce ecosystem experience is strongly preferred.
  • Email, SMS & Deliverability Knowledge - You understand email and SMS best practices, consent and preference management, deliverability, reputation, frequency, suppression, accessibility, and responsive design. You can balance commercial goals with customer relevance and channel health.
  • Data, Segmentation & Personalization Acumen - You are comfortable working with customer, product, behavioral, and engagement data to define audiences and triggers. You understand data models, audience logic, and data quality; familiarity with SQL or similar query tools is valued but not required.
  • Cross-Sell & Financial-Services Orientation - You understand how to deepen customer relationships through relevant next-best-product recommendations, not indiscriminate promotion. Banking, fintech, deposits, lending, or regulated-industry experience is strongly valued, along with an appreciation for suitability, trust, and long-term relationship value.
  • Measurement & Experimentation - You define clear KPIs, build disciplined tests, and connect campaign engagement to conversion, product penetration, retention, and lifetime value. You can diagnose funnel performance and turn complex results into practical recommendations for senior leaders and partners.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution - You are a strategic, technically fluent operator who can align Marketing, business lines, Technology, Data, Operations, Creative, and Compliance. You create clarity in ambiguity, manage multiple journeys and stakeholders, and maintain rigorous attention to detail from strategy through deployment.
