About the role
Join Cloudflare to lead and manage Cloudflare's Startup Program, operationalizing and growing Cloudflare for Startups. Since 2020, thousands of startups have leveraged our program to build and scale their businesses, and we're investing in the program to deepen our relationships with Venture Capital firms, accelerators, and incubators to capture the next wave of iconic and AI startups.
In this role, you'll focus on strategic growth and operational excellence. Your primary goal is to expand the reach of Cloudflare's Startup Program while ensuring higher quality startups join and benefit from the program. You'll work cross-functionally across Developer GTM, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Growth teams to enhance how startups engage with Cloudflare and build on our platform.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who operates with urgency at a high level and has experience building and scaling high-impact programs, supporting startups in their journey, and/or working closely with VCs, accelerators, and incubators to support founders.
What you'll do
- Grow Cloudflare's Startup Program, with a focus on deepening VC and accelerator relationships to attract high-quality startups to Cloudflare.
- Evangelize, champion, and nurture, the community of startups that leverage and graduate from the program.
- Advocate internally to solve for product gaps and remove friction relevant to the Startup Program journey.
- Expand Workers Launchpad, Cloudflare's initiative to support developer-led startups.
- Collaborate with Marketing to increase startup engagement with Cloudflare's developer platform through events, workshops, and success stories.
- Increase revenue impact of the Startup Program, and evolving it into a measurable growth driver for Cloudflare.
- Represent Cloudflare in community events, demo days, and industry conferences to position the company as the best partner for startups.
- Present updates and insights to leadership on the growth and evolution of the program.
- Partner cross-functionally with numerous teams to optimize the startup program customer journey. This includes, but is not limited to, teams like Developer GTM, Sales, Marketing, Product, Billing, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Legal.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- 6+ years of experience, with a strong track record in building or managing startup programs, working with venture capital firms or accelerators, or directly supporting early-stage startups in a GTM, partnerships, or growth role.
- Strong sense of ownership, Independent, self-motivated professional with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Customer-centric, technically curious by nature, and a strategic problem solver.
- Comfortable working with leadership, cross functionally, and can deliver results while under pressure
- Proven ability to nurture and grow customer relationships over a long-term horizon.
- Data driven, and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Big Query, BoostUp is a plus.
- Prior experience working in SaaS or Product Led Growth (PLG) experience is a plus.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
- For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Minnesota based hires: Estimated annual salary of $167,000 - $204,000.
- For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $171,000 - $209,000.
- For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $179,000 - $219,000.
