• CloudSEK XVigil constantly maps a customer’s digital assets, identifies threats and enriches them with cyber intelligence, and then provides workflows to manage and remediate all identified threats including takedown support.

Job Description: PR Executive / Communications Executive

We are looking for a sharp, polished, and proactive PR Executive / Communications Executive to drive our external communications across India and global markets. This role is for someone who understands how to build brand visibility, shape strong narratives, and create meaningful engagement across both traditional and modern media ecosystems.

The role is primarily focused on public relations, media outreach, strategic communications, and brand reputation. A small part of the role will involve supporting communication-led content development.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Relations

• Build and manage strong relationships with journalists, editors, media houses, and key media stakeholders across India and international markets.

• Develop and execute media outreach strategies that secure high-quality coverage across business, technology, startup, trade, and mainstream publications.

• Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, interview requests, official statements, and spokesperson notes.

• Identify strong story angles around company announcements, product updates, partnerships, research findings, industry trends, events, and leadership commentary.

• Coordinate interviews, media briefings, speaking opportunities, and other external engagements for leadership and subject matter experts.

• Maintain a strong understanding of media landscapes, journalist beats, editorial priorities, and timing across regions.

Beyond Traditional Media

• Expand brand visibility beyond conventional media by building relationships with podcasters, newsletter writers, creators, analysts, independent commentators, and relevant social media influencers.

• Identify and activate opportunities across emerging and non-traditional platforms that can help shape perception and reach the right audiences.

• Work on outreach strategies that blend earned media with modern reputation-building channels.

• Explore creative ways to place the brand in relevant industry conversations through digital-first communities and influential voices.

Strategic Communications

• Support the development and execution of communication strategies aligned with business goals in India and key global markets.

• Shape clear, credible, and relevant messaging for announcements, campaigns, thought leadership, reports, partnerships, and corporate developments.

• Ensure consistency in tone, positioning, and narrative across all external communication.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business priorities into compelling external stories.

• Help position the company and its leadership as trusted voices in the cybersecurity and technology ecosystem.

Brand Visibility & Reputation

• Monitor media coverage, industry conversations, and market developments to identify visibility opportunities and communication risks.

• Support brand-building through timely, accurate, and well-crafted external communication.

• Maintain media lists, influencer and creator databases, coverage trackers, and PR performance reports.

• Contribute to thoughtful communication during sensitive, high-visibility, or fast-moving situations where brand reputation matters.

Campaigns, Events & External Engagement

• Support communication for product launches, campaigns, reports, webinars, conferences, partnerships, and industry events.

• Drive pre-event, on-ground, and post-event outreach to maximize media visibility and conversation value.

• Coordinate with internal teams to create external narratives and communication assets around key campaigns and milestones.

• Ensure PR execution is timely, well-coordinated, and aligned with larger brand and business objectives.

Content Support

• Draft and refine communication-led content such as leadership quotes, bylines, LinkedIn posts, website announcements, short opinion pieces, and briefing materials.

• Support storytelling requirements for PR-driven campaigns and external communication initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

• A strong communicator with excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal skills.

• Someone who understands both traditional PR and the growing importance of digital influence and modern media ecosystems.

• A professional who can confidently engage with journalists, creators, influencers, podcasters, and senior stakeholders.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive, responsive, and capable of spotting story opportunities quickly.

• Someone with sound judgment, strong relationship-building ability, and a clear understanding of timing, tone, and audience.

Preferred Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, journalism, or a related role.

• Experience working across India and/or international markets will be preferred.

• Background in technology, cybersecurity, B2B, SaaS, startup, or corporate communications will be an advantage.

• Existing relationships with media, creators, podcasters, analysts, or industry influencers will be a strong plus.
