About the Role:
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing structured learning programs aligned with business, academic, and training objectives. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality educational experiences through curriculum development, instructional design, and learning technology management.
- Curriculum and Course Development: Design and develop comprehensive learning programs that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Instructional Design: Create learning objectives, course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials tailored for various audiences.
- Content Development: Develop interactive e-learning modules, digital learning assets, assessments, and multimedia content to enhance learner engagement.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Manage and administer Clutch’s LMS, including user enrollment, tracking, reporting, and analyzing learning data to drive continuous improvement.
- Industry & Educational Trends: Stay up to date with emerging trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult education to optimize learning solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders including subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, healthcare providers, patients, and regulatory agencies to support quality, safety, and risk management initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years’ experience in the field of Learning/Instructional Design (Virtual Education) in the health care sector
- Post-secondary degree in Business, HR, Education or a related field.
- Certificate in Instructional/Learning Design Education Program/Course work
- Strong skills with e-learning authoring software (Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline), creation of SCORM packages and ease with manipulation of Learning Management Systems
- Strong understanding of instructional design models, learning theories, and adult learning principles
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with gamification, microlearning, mobile learning, or virtual learning technologies is an asset
