About the role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve core HR programs that drive engagement, performance, and positive employee relations. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure consistent and fair HR processes, while also serving as a hands-on operational backbone for the People team. The HR Specialist balances empathy and judgment with structure and process, making a tangible impact across the organization.
What you’ll do:

Partner with managers to ensure performance processes are fair, consistent, and aligned with company goals and values.

Lead end-to-end execution of company-wide performance review cycles, including timelines, tools, communications, calibration support, and reporting.

Continuously develop and improve people programs to enhance engagement, clarity, and effectiveness.

Build and maintain a pro-employee relations playbook aligned with employment standards and best practices.

Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.

Support and/or lead workplace investigations, ensuring issues are addressed promptly, confidentially, and fairly.

Develop, update, and operationalize HR policies and procedures to support a scalable, compliant people function.

Ensure HR processes are documented, communicated, and consistently applied across the company.

Own the employee recognition program end-to-end, including design, administration, communications, and continuous improvement.

Analyze engagement and feedback data to recommend enhancements to recognition and engagement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:

5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in employee relations or performance management.

Strong hands-on experience managing performance reviews, employee relations processes, and investigations.

CHRP designation preferred.

Solid understanding of HR policies, employment standards, and best practices.

Proven ability to build clear, scalable processes in fast-paced or high-growth environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with discretion, sound judgment, and empathy.

Experience in scaling companies or high-growth environments.

Exposure to HRIS, performance management tools, and engagement platforms.

Practical experience influencing HR strategy while executing operational initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 per annually
