About the role:
We’re looking for a strong Team Lead to help lead our evening shift operations within our vehicle reconditioning facility. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on keeping production moving, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the team is supported, coached, and held accountable.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments, is comfortable leading from the floor, and can keep teams aligned and performing at a high level. Evening availability is required.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the Flow: Monitor the "pulse" of the reconditioning line (Inspection, Mechanical, Bodyshop, Detail, Quality Control & Merchandising)
  • Eliminate Friction: Identify bottlenecks in real-time and reallocate labor to keep units moving without compromising quality
  • Lean Excellence: Master the art of high-efficiency workflows. If a process is cluttered or lagging, you are empowered to fix it
  • Coach & Develop: Lead from the floor providing real-time feedback and technical mentorship to your crew
  • Culture of Ownership: Foster an environment where every team member feels responsible for the final product
  • Safety First: Lead by example. Ensure PPE compliance and maintain a "tour-ready" workspace 24/7
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Use KPIs (Throughput, Cycle Time, and First-Pass Yield) to track shift success and report to senior leadership
  • Quality Gatekeeping: Audit vehicles at critical stages to ensure "The Clutch Standard" is met before a car ever hits the website

What you’ll need:

  • Be a Proven Leader: You have 1+ years leading teams and 3+ years in high-volume environments like automotive, manufacturing, or fast-paced order and pickup windows
  • Process-Obsessed: You understand that "Standardized Work" is the foundation of improvement. You likely have experience with 5S, Kanban, or Six Sigma
  • Agile & Resilient: You thrive in high-pressure environments where priorities can shift by the hour
  • Communicator: You can translate complex production data into clear instructions for your team

We believe great leaders come from many backgrounds. If you have managed high-volume "lines" in other industries, we want to talk to you:

  • High-Volume Hospitality: Kitchen Leads or BOH Managers who thrive on "ticket times" and precision
  • Logistics & Fulfillment: Shift Leads from Tier-1 warehouses who live and breathe throughput metrics
  • Big Box Retail: Key holders or Department Leads who excel at team training and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Why you’ll love it:

  • Growth Orbit: We hire Line Leads with the intention of promoting them to Operations Managers
  • Modern Environment: Forget the "greasy garage" stereotype. You’ll work in a tech-forward, organized, and safety-conscious facility
  • Impact: Your work directly dictates the customer experience. Every car you clear is a win for the brand

Employment Type:

  • New, Permanent Full-Time

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $24–$28 per hour
  • Health & dental benefits
  • Pay decisions reflect objective criteria: skills, performance, market benchmarking, responsibilities, and working conditions
