About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Vehicle Data Specialist to support our production operations within our vehicle reconditioning facility. This role is responsible for accurately identifying vehicle features, confirming trim levels, and uploading key information into our inventory system to ensure every vehicle is properly listed and ready for sale.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, repetitive environment, has strong attention to detail, and can maintain high accuracy while working under production timelines. You will also support other production teams as needed, including detailing, shuttling, and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually identifying and capturing features within the vehicle
- Using manually captured features to identify the trim level of the vehicle
- Copying data from documents into our vehicle inventory system (CarFax information, vehicle specifications, recall information)
- Completing the upload for each vehicle in a fast paced, repetitive environment
- Assisting with other production teams as needed (detailing, shuttling, inspections)
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario)
- Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions
- Background Check: Clean criminal background check
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed
Skills and Attributes:
- High proficiency in English - both written and verbal
- Familiar with common and new features found in vehicles sold in Canada
- Previous data entry experience, with a high level of accuracy (Google Docs, Sheets)
- Ability to work in a vehicle production facility environment
- Knowledge on common car brands bought and sold in the Canadian market
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Possess a valid/clean driver's licence (G licence preferred)
- Ability to operate a variety of cars, trucks, and SUV's, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission is a plus
