We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Data Analyst - Growth to support a large-scale consumer rewards platform designed to motivate safer, more engaged driving behavior. You will help us understand how people use the product, uncover opportunities to improve the experience, and measure the impact of new ideas. In this role, you will combine product analytics, experimentation, and operational monitoring to shape the evolution of a rapidly growing consumer engagement platform. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Design to ensure we are building experiences that delight users and drive strong performance and measurable business results. This position is ideal for analysts who enjoy diving deep into user behavior, influencing product direction through data, and owning the metrics and insights that help a consumer product grow and succeed. 

CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Senior Data Analyst, Growth who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze user behavior, engagement patterns, and product performance to surface insights that drive product decisions and strategy 
  • Lead the full experimentation process — from hypothesis and metric design to instrumentation guidance, monitoring, and communicating results 
  • Own daily and weekly visibility into core metrics; flag anomalies, investigate trends, and deliver fast, actionable analyses for product iteration 
  • Maintain clear and consistent metric definitions; run routine data quality checks; document key datasets; and work with partners to ensure data accuracy 
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science to support the product lifecycle and embed strong analytical practices throughout 
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Math, or related field 
  • 4+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data-focused roles in consumer tech, mobile apps, gaming, or similar environments 
  • Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets 
  • Proficiency with Python for data analysis and experimentation workflows 
  • Experience with A/B testing, statistical measurement, and experiment design 
  • Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Looker, Mode, or similar) 
  • Ability to present complex findings clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced product environments
  • Comfortable balancing deep analytical work with ongoing monitoring and operational responsibilities

Nice to Haves: 

  • Experience with consumer engagement, rewards programs, incentive systems, or behavior-driven products 
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar) 
  • Exposure to predictive modeling, personalization, or recommendation systems (in partnership with data science) 
  • Background in mobility, transportation, or telematics (helpful but not required)

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary Range

  • The base salary range for this position is: $101,800 to $127,300. This range is specifically for Cambridge, MA
