
Project Manager
Cobalt Service Partners is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager to lead highly complex, security-focused projects from kickoff through closeout. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, and Field Technicians to ensure projects are executed efficiently, accurately, and to Galaxy’s high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project execution, low-voltage or electrical construction environments, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
***This is an in-office position located in Boston, MA, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.***
In this role you will...
- Manage projects end-to-end, from handoff through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Engineering, Field Technicians, vendors, and clients
- Review approved quotes, submittals, and job documentation to ensure project readiness
- Oversee job packets, material procurement, delivery coordination, and installation scheduling
- Track project progress, risks, and change orders; communicate updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Support field teams by resolving issues, answering technical questions, and removing blockers
- Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, O&M manuals, and warranty submissions
- Participate in recurring project and operations meetings, driving accountability and follow-through
- Identify opportunities to improve project processes, tools, and execution standards
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project data in company systems
Tools You’ll Use…
- Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, Outlook)
- Project tracking and documentation systems
- You will play an active role in helping evolve and upgrade the company’s software stack
You've got what it takes if you have...
- Proven experience managing projects in construction, low-voltage, or technical environments
- Familiarity with Security Access Control, Video Management, Nurse Call, and Emergency Communication systems
- Low-voltage electrical experience
- Electrical construction experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, submittals, and specifications
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Professional, disciplined, and collaborative working style
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. *This role may involve up to 30% local travel - mileage reimbursement would be provided.
- Must be able to pass a standard background and security screening.
Preferred (Not Required)…
- PMP, CSM, or similar project management certification
- Experience with Bluebeam, submittals, and change order management
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
Benefits:
- Salary of $80,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience
