About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager who will help build customer relationships to help grow and retain an existing book of business. This includes onboarding new customers, growing revenue, and renewing contracts.
We are looking for someone who brings a consultative, value-driven sales approach that is rooted in establishing trust, credibility, and genuine relationships. You’ll demonstrate a strong ability to meticulously manage a pipeline of opportunities and create new opportunities working towards an annual quota. Those successful in the role are driven, learners, creative, and proactive. You will report to the Head of Enterprise Sales, Expand.
In this role you will:
- Develop and manage sales pipeline to retain and grow an existing book of business through both inbound and outbound efforts
- Build relationship with senior executives and decision makers across all industries
- Lead business reviews to central buying/IT teams to showcase how Coda can transform a customers business to deliver maximum revenue potential and increase renewal rates
- Be comfortable discussing and negotiating contracts, managing partners in Procurement and Legal, and able to handle rejection
- Occasionally travel for customer facing meetings
You may be a great fit for this role if:
- You're an authentic maker to tell Coda's story who is interested in the productivity space
- You bring 3+ years of experience in account management or sales within the SaaS industry, meeting and exceeding quotas
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills. You can empathize with potential clients' pain points and inspire them to adopt our solutions
- You are a resourceful problem solver, can discover your customers' needs and understand how Coda can provide value
- You excel working with a team, solving problems, inspiring customers, and having fun!
- You are based in San Francisco or New York

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as the role's scope and complexity, and your experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided: $100,000 - $150,000.
