Who you’ll be working with

We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.

What you’ll be doing

• Have complete technical ownership of the QA automation efforts for projects 
• Set Target for the Automaton Roadmap, hands-on coding/implementation of automation tests, implementing new test frameworks, and improving the existing ones
• Led a team of automation engineers focussing on building robust end-to-end frameworks, setting automation targets, coaching team members around emerging technologies, and performing code reviews. 
• Estimate the size of QA automation backlog items and evaluate technical feasibility
• Grow automated testing discipline (people, processes, and culture) and introduce new test automation capabilities
• Ensuring that the content and structure of all Test Automation artifacts are documented and maintained and reviewing the Test Cases Automation suite and documents regularly
• Tracking automated test executions and preparing reports detailing test automation results, code coverage, required resources, performance baselines, etc.
• Promote and encourage the use of best practice design and automation testing within the wider QA, Test & Release team, as well as the associated applications which are supported
• This hands-on technical role will be responsible for architecting automation frameworks using modern automation frameworks. The candidate will combine knowledge of Software design & development practices and Testing and QA best practices to design, develop, and execute tests and help us deliver quality products. 
• You will also be responsible for leading automation activities in the project space both from a CI/CD perspective as well as QA automation. The role involves interacting with business stakeholders, developers and QA Engineers to understand various test cases and own the strategy to automate test cases via modern test frameworks.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

• 6 plus years of overall experience in software testing using technologies like Selenium,Webdriver.io, Cypress, or Playwright. 
• Capable of defining Y2Y productivity targets and putting across E2E Automation strategies
• Strong scripting experience using Javascript. 
• Strong development experience and familiarity with source control or build tools (Git, Gradle, NPM, etc…)
• Capable of indicating types of automation testing required across various business layers and recommending appropriate tools
• Delivery-focused and ability to succeed with high levels of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technical team leadership skills.
