Who you’ll be working with

We ideate, create, and coordinate. We analyze, strategize, organize, and prioritize. We bridge the communication channel between the client and our project team. We chart the course and navigate the product roadmap sprint by sprint. Some of us are product owners. Some of us are scrum masters. Many of us wear multiple hats and do whatever’s needed to deliver successful projects.

What you’ll be doing

Role Overview: Codal is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to drive Agile transformation across teams and client engagements. This individual will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Delivery Management to establish and refine Agile best practices, enhance team collaboration, and optimize ways of working for successful project outcomes. The Agile Coach will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring teams are empowered with the right tools, processes, and mindset to deliver value efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Transformation & Coaching

  • Guide teams in adopting and scaling Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Provide hands-on coaching to Product Managers, Engineers, and Delivery Leads.
  • Partner with clients to align on Agile methodologies and best practices.

Agile & JIRA Best Practice Audits

  • Conduct regular Agile process and JIRA usage audits to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Identify gaps in Agile execution and JIRA usage, providing corrective actions.
  • Ensure teams effectively use JIRA for backlog management, planning, and reporting.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Assess Agile maturity and create improvement roadmaps for teams.
  • Optimize backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Implement cross-departmental feedback loops to measure and iterate on Agile practices.

Training & Enablement

  • Develop and deliver Agile training, playbooks, and lunch & learn sessions.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Product Managers, and Delivery Management.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and retrospectives for team growth.

Metrics, Reporting & JIRA Governance

  • Define and track Agile KPIs (velocity, cycle time, burndown, etc.) to assess team health.
  • Collaborate with the JIRA administrator to optimize Agile workflows.
  • Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership and clients.

Cross-Functional & Client Collaboration

  • Bridge Product, Engineering, and Design to align Agile ways of working.
  • Support Agile adoption within client engagements and internal projects.
  • Work with leadership to drive Agile transformation initiatives.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

  • 5+ years in Agile coaching, transformation, or Scrum Mastery.
  • Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience conducting Agile and JIRA best practice audits.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Agile coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, CSP, SPC), consulting experience.

  • $85,000 - $100,000
